24hr Veterinary Specialist and Animal Emergency Hospital

Our 1000sqm emergency animal hospital is open 24hrs 7 days a week to care for the pets of Greater Melbourne and regional Victoria. Many clinics choose our practice to care for their patients during the evening and weekends.  We are conveniently located just off City Link at the Racecourse Rd/Flemington Road exits. We are in a quiet no-through-road with ample unrestricted client car parking. Our practice provides specialist surgery and medicine of dogs and cats, veterinary behaviour, veterinary ophthalmology, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy.

Our equipment includes specialist surgical gear to allow a full range of surgical procedures including veterinary arthroscopy, laparoscopy, total hip replacement, TPLO cruciate repair in dogs and a full range of soft tissue and cancer surgery in dogs and cats. 

We are fortunate to have onsite CT and computed radiology to provide the most modern imaging for our patients. Advanced Vetcare has frequent access to MRI scanning at a nearby facility. 

Our medicine department sports a full range of diagnostic equipment to assist in the work-up of your pet's disease. Flexible and rigid endoscopy, colour flow Doppler cardiac ultrasound, ECG and EMG along with a complete in-house laboratory help to ensure a speedy diagnosis of your pet's condition.
